Simple Song,

but it's really good.

However, to match the more simple guitar and bass, hold back the drummer a bit. He was verrrrry wild and it didn't really fit the mood of the song too well.

I understand what he was trying to, kind of a bloc part-esque thing?

Anyway, I really do like it. You don't see much of this stuff on newgrounds.

Were the volumes okay? We dabbled with the bass volume forever but it still seems too quiet at parts. If you listen to The Road Home, the volume is perfect all around, but in this song it seems... off.

Thank you ! I use FL Studio and free soundfont instruments from the internet. The strings particularly don't always sound that good, but I tried my best to blend them into the mix.

The only part I found weird in the song was the slowdown to the piano break, but it wasn't bad, just didnt meld too well.

unfortunately the piano break came elsewhere, although i did edit some keys and chords to get the sound I was looking for. I'm getting close to being able to do that myself. thanks for the review man. I'll work on the slowdown.

Awesome.

At first I was a bit skeptical of the crackly bass, but I liked it after the intro.

This would make a pretty sweet backing for a rap song if you got it to loop correctly.

its a work in proogress, im gunna tweak the bass so its no annoying. maybe add a another synth in there somehow... i dunno
